If you’ve seen the first two PARANOMRAL ACTIVITY movies, you most likely will feel like you’ve seen the prequel PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3. Opening to record-setting numbers for the month of October, this movie provides cheap chills and thrills for an avid horror movie-goer. If you however are scared easily by ghosts, and unexplained events, this might be the horror movie for you.
If you saw the movie in the theaters, and enjoyed it enough to buy the film, I recommend the single-disc DVD. On January 24th, Paramount Home Entertainment will release PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3’s Blu-ray/DVD Combo pack, which includes both the theatrical version of the film and the unrated version with footage not seen in theaters. You can also purchase the film in Ultra Violet, allowing you to download and stream the film to portable devices.
The combo pack includes:
Blu-ray:
• Original Theatrical Version of the Film
• Unrated Version of the Film
• Lost Tapes
DVD:
• Unrated Version of the Film
• Digital Copy of Unrated Version – compatible with tunes and Windows Media player.
The unrated version only runs ten minutes longer, and didn’t add anything to the original theatrical version worth watching. The “Lost Tapes” as well include a few juvenile pranks between the two main adult characters, nothing scary or terrifying about them, they’re mostly just funny – if they were real.
