Though there was plenty of mixed reaction to the last installment in the franchise, Bruce Willis is ready to kick some more ass with the fifth film in the action series staple A Good Day to Die Hard. With another one of his children back on board to team up with dear ol’ dad, the series goes to Europe as we travel to Moscow for a new take on McClane’s all-American heroics. Today, the first trailer for the film has hit and though it isn’t too long nor does it showcase too much it does feature jaw-dropping moments sure to make any fan of the old films incredibly happy and willing to ditch their date on Valentine’s Day.
From director John Moore and scribe Skip Woods, A Good Day to Die Hard finds John McClane (Bruce Willis) in Mother Russia to visit with his son now all-grown-up Jack McClane (Jai Courtney) in Moscow. However when a disgraced former Russian general plots to kill the U.S. President, it’s up to both of the McClane men to do what they do best and take down the bad guy in yet another high-octane adventure that takes the fight to foreign territory.
Starring Willis, Courtney, Cole Hauser, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Sebastian Koch, Yulia Snigir and more, A Good Day to Die Hard hits theaters on February 14th, 2013.
