Sneak Peek of ‘Adventure Time’ Creator Pendelton Ward’s New Animated Series ‘Bravest Warriors’

Recently wrapping up its fourth season and still going strong Adventure Time has become really the #1 series on Cartoon Network as its unique style has made it not only beloved by its targeted younger demographic but also older animation fans as well, creating a strong internet fanbase in the process. Now after two and a half years as a regular series, creator Pendelton Ward is branching out with an all-new animated adventure that feels almost like a mix of both Voltron and Codename: Kids Next Door with Ward’s classic twist that is sure to have fans embracing the new series. And below, we have a first look at the upcoming internet-exclusive adventure known as Bravest Warriors.

Running at only around five minutes a piece, Bravest Warriors is a new web series that will be a part of Frederator Studios’ Cartoon Hangover, exclusively on their Youtube page. Featuring the same style of animation that Ward’s popular Cartoon Network series uses, the new program follows Chris, Beth, Wallow and Danny as they travel the universe saving various alien species who require their assistance. Joining them includes Pixel, an A.I. who is very possessive of Wallow and lives on his left arm, Plum, the unofficial fifth member of the Warriors who has an interesting split personality and serves as a love interest for Danny, and more.

Bravest Warriors will premiere on November 8th, giving you all the more reason to subscribe to Cartoon Hangover on Youtube in the meantime! But if you can’t wait any longer, check out a sneak peek scene and the theme song of the series below while a tie-in comic from publisher BOOM! Studios is available in your local comics shops today and digitally on the Comixology app:
