Before The Amazing Spider-Man‘s release, there were numerous reports that the heavily touted “never before seen origins tale” was going to be axed on the editing room floor. Detailing a much bigger role for Peter’s father in his becoming of the titular hero, there were inklings of this in a leaked deleted scene that hit the internet just a few months back. Now on the verge of hitting home video, every single deleted and extended scene has hit the Internet today. And though we unfortunately don’t get an answer to the origins tale or even Uncle Ben’s killer, we get many additional scenes that build upon Curt Connors and giving him a more personal, emotional tale than what’s displayed in the final product.
