After a lengthy summer of pre-production, The Hangover: Part III entered principal photography this week as the final installment in the hit comedy franchise kicks off reuniting multiple members of past films. While we have yet to tackle the big locations such as Las Vegas once more or Tijuana, Warner Brothers has announced that we thankfully won’t be rehashing the same type of story that many complained about in the last installment. Now, the first set photos from the sequel have surfaced revealing not only the three best friends that anyone could have back together but also their significant others as well.

The photos from Buzzfeed show what appear to be a double date between the married couples of the group, with Jamie Chung back as Stu’s wife while Ed Helms is noticeably without the face tattoo that his character obtained in Bangkok. That little tidbit will likely be explored within the context of dialogue (or Todd Phillips has just done what we all have: pretended the second film just doesn’t exist).

The second scene is a bit trickier to narrow down as we see Stu, Alan and Tracy all back together though we’re not sure exactly where. While the idea of Alan being committed within an insane asylum has been tossed around, the location around them doesn’t exactly scream “institution”.

The Hangover: Part III will follow The Wolfpack on the road as they go journeying back to Las Vegas, while other plot details currently remain unknown. Justin Bartha, Mike Tyson, Ken Jeong, Mike Epps, Heather Graham, and Jeffrey Tambor will all be returning while John Goodman will appear as a mini-antagonist on this latest adventure.

The Hangover: Part III hits theaters on May 24th, 2013.
