If there is one film that has been the most talked about and gaining some fantastic Oscar buzz, it’s The Wachowskis’ star-filled drama Cloud Atlas. Featuring somewhat of a sci-fi twist in certain regards while forcing the actors to play multiple characters throughout a tale that spans thousands of years, it seems that we have discovered Fall’s heaviest hitter thus far.

With only a month until release, Warner Brothers Pictures may be ready to really push the marketing on Cloud Atlas into overdrive. And today, that kicks off with seven all-new banner images from the film that focus on a number of individuals with some absolutely stunning scenery.

Based off of the novel of the same name by David Mitchell, Cloud Atlas explores how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future.

The film is written for the screen and directed by Lana Wachowski & Tom Tykwer & Andy Wachowski and stars Tom Hanks Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, Ben Whishaw, James D’Arcy, Zhou Xun and Keith David, with Susan Sarandon and Hugh Grant. Each member of the ensemble appears in multiple roles as the stories move through time.

Cloud Atlas hits theaters on October 26th.
