With the first trailer already out in theaters, Paranormal Activity 4 has peaked interests over the possible return of Katie and Hunter while also being the first direct sequel following two films that have worked best as prequels to the original indie favorite. Since then, things have remained relatively quiet as Paramount isn’t ready to reveal just what else is in store for the upcoming installment, but today the marketing for the film finally continues. Now, the studio has released another short clip of what we can hopefully expect to see with the latest look inside the newest haunting.
This new video gives us a glimpse of a young boy yet again, which has been led to believe is Hunter grown up after the five year jump between the furthest moment the series has taken us in Paranormal Activity 2 and the 2011 setting of the fourth film. In the middle of all of this, we also get a brief look at what appears to be another all-new character that wasn’t initially seen in the first trailer. Who could it be this time? A friend of the teenage girl from our first look?
Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost return to direct Paranormal Activity 4, which takes the found footage to another level with some face-to-face video chat approach along with the usual handheld video cameras. You can find out more about Katie, Hunter and returning demon Toby when the film hits theaters on October 19th.
