With production getting started on various TV series, Revenge is ready to kick off its sophomore season with a cast of new characters, new stories, and plenty of unanswered questions. Where exactly the show will go from here is what fans have been dying to find out, and some character & plot details have already made their ways out into the open. Now the latest bit of news behind the scenes has another Grayson entering the spotlight, and knowing Emily Thorne there’s a great chance she may just be pulling some strings on the latest possible pawn.

Previously, it was revealed by creator Mike Kelley that the next season would include Conrad’s family from his first marriage and we speculated that given Conrad’s current wealth with Victoria, Daniel, and Charlotte, there could be plenty of resentment from their half-siblings. Turns out that could very well be the case as TV Line reports that the show has begun to quietly cast Conrad’s first son.

The article says that ”from the sounds of it, the smart and sexy heir apparent is going to make half-brother Daniel’s life (both personal and professional) a living hell” and calls the male Emily’s “new boy toy”. Heartbroken and still pissed off against the Graysons, could this new branch of the family tree help Emily out in more ways than one to compete against her mortal enemies?

Kelley has also previously revealed that of the new characters we’ll see introduced, we can expect a new puppy to replace the very much missed Sammy, Victoria’s Mother, and finally people from the pasts of Amanda, Emily, and Nolan.

No word on just who is in contention for the role, nor when the season will premiere in its all-new timeslot of Sundays at 9PM.
