With Machete Kills currently filming in Texas, the action sequel is certainly underway to a big start with plenty of secrets as we don’t exactly know just how the wide cast of stars will fit into this Grindhouse-style of kicking ass. One of the most intriguing celebrities to join the cast happens to be Sofia Vergara, who has been revealed to have certainly an interesting role. Now, we have our first look at the actress in action on the set of the sequel under director Robert Rodriguez as the first video from the production has surfaced that focuses on Vergara and even the behind-the-scenes process.

The footage comes from Sofia’s son Manolo Vergara and his own web-based reality show Mi Vida con Toty. Here we get our first look at his mother portraying the role of Madame Desdemona, a brothel owner who’s been revealed to have information through her employees that Machete needs. We don’t get to see too much of Vergara in action on the set, with just a few snippets of her holding a whip in a leather-clad outfit. But, it’s certainly just a small taste of what to expect for now.

The film will star Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Edward James Olmos, Mel Gibson, Demian Bichir, Zoe Saldana, Amber Heard, and even Charlie Sheen. Plot details are currently slim on the sequel after director Rodriguez revealed that the synopsis originally released was a faux story.

Machete Kills will be released at a currently undetermined time in 2013.
