Trailer for Adult Swim’s New Animated Series ‘Black Dynamite’

It’s been almost a year since Adult Swim impressed many online with the pilot for their next animated series Black Dynamite, a continuation of the 2009 cult hit. Blending comedy, action, and blaxploitation all in a stylized and spoof-filled humor, the pilot episode was a hilarious half hour that certainly had us excited for the series. Now, the late night programming block of Cartoon Network is suiting up for the series premiere next month, and have released an all-new trailer that highlights just what you can expect from the upcoming animated spin-off.

The first episode, called ”Trouble on Puppet Street”, is a great dig at Sesame Street with some great adult humor, mystery, and it really gives a feel of just how the show will expand in the future. While the pilot only stands at 11 minutes long, each installment will last half an hour, with an unknown episode order currently standing. Most of the film’s cast, including Michael Jai White, Tommy Davidson, Byron Minns, and Kym Whitley, will all be returning in their respective roles.

Black Dynamite will debut on July 15th at 11:30 PM only on Adult Swim.
