This week so far has been a great one for Twilight fans. With a full photo reveal and covery story regarding newest member to the Cullen family Renesmee, it was also announced that a new trailer would be coming today to get fans even more excited for the fall finale. With a short teaser already released, Lionsgate-Summit decided to approach the character of Edward’s fictional birthday for fans to really see what the studio has in store for them later this year. Today, the short trailer not only showcases tensions mounting, but a cliffhanging fight among vampires sure to excite those who can’t wait another five months.

After the birth of Renesmee Cullen, Bella, now a vampire, finds herself enjoying her new life and abilities. However, the vampire Irina misidentifies Renesmee as an “immortal child”, a child who has been turned into a vampire, and because immortal children are uncontrollable, creating them has been outlawed by the Volturi. After Irina presents her allegation to the Volturi, they plan to destroy Renesmee and the Cullens. In an attempt to survive, the Cullens gather other vampire clans from around the world to stand as witnesses and prove to the Volturi that Renesmee is not an immortal child.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Elizabeth Reaser, Nikki Reed, Billy Burke, Rami Malek, Maggie Grace, and more, directed by Bill Condon, and scripted by Melissa Rosenberg, will hit theaters on November 16th.
