New Posters from ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’, ‘Wreck-It Ralph’, & Dreamworks Animation’s ‘Rise of the Guardians’

With the summer slate already on its way out, and some decent films both flopping and finding moderate successes, it’s what the rest of the year has in store that also has cinema fans incredibly excited. With plenty of holiday treats, and even the return of a certain swining Spider, still left to be uncovered, the marketing has just begun for what else 2012 has in store. Now, a slew of new posters have come forth for three buzzed about movies that will be coming later this year, featuring all-new looks at each film’s major characters.

First up, a new poster for The Amazing Spider-Man popped up as bus art, and is the first poster to feature the core romance of the film between Peter and Gwen. That seems to be a major focus this week after a featurette certainly showed the more human and playful side of the two teenagers who are certainly more focused on their brains than their social lives. Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Chris Zylka, and directed by Marc Webb, the reboot hits theaters on July 3rd. [ComingSoon]

Moving onto the films that will start to surface around Thanksgiving, one of the latest trailers to hit the internet that certainly people have been talking about this week is the video-game-filled Wreck-It Ralph from Disney. While we still have a very old school teaser poster here in the States, marketing is expected to start popping up for the film as the summer kicks up.

The latest piece comes from the international market as Disney has unleashed two all-new posters that feature three characters that we saw in the first trailer: Ralph, who is accompanied by the “annoying” Vanellope von Schweetz, and Sargeant Callhoun. However, Vanellope looks pretty well acquainted with Ralph in this photo, which is certainly a change from the teaser trailer. Featuring the voices of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jane Lynch, Jack McBrayer, and more, Wreck-It Ralph hits theaters on November 2nd. [Cine 1]

Finally, Dreamworks Animation has released six all-new character posters for their upcoming childhood fantasy idol mash-up Rise of the Guardians. With an impressive cast that includes Chris Pine, Hugh Jackman, Alec Baldwin, Isla Fisher, and Jude Law, we really don’t have much footage of Pine’s Jack Frost or Law’s Boogeyman as the two were revealed following the teaser trailer. With a new trailer likely to hit in the coming weeks, the new posters show all of the major urban legends in action, with some just a variation of their original promo images. Rise of the Guardians opens everywhere November 21st.
