New Featurette for FOX’s ‘The Following’ Goes Behind the Kevin Bacon Serial Killer Drama

If there’s one pilot this season that has been receiving a great amount of acclaim, it happens to be FOX’s upcoming midseason series The Following. From creator Kevin Williamson and starring Kevin Bacon, James Purefoy, Maggie Grace, Shawn Ashmore, and more, the show follows a cult of serial killers following the conviction of one notorious killer who has been hunted down and locked up behind bars for the time being. While we received a first look trailer a few weeks ago, the buzz is still hot enough that FOX may want to market the series even more despite having a large amount of time until it debuts. Now, an all-new featurette has been released that explores the inner thoughts of Bacon’s main character and the regrets he may have regarding his famous case that ended with a man in jail.

Unfortunately, The Following won’t premiere until an undetermined date in 2013. The pilot has been described as addictive, gripping, gruesome, violent, and many critics can’t get enough of it. In fact, The Following will be awarded the “Most Exciting New Series” award at tonight’s Critics’ Choice Television Awards in Hollywood.
