International Trailer for ‘Django Unchained’ Features Plenty of New Footage, First Look at Samuel L. Jackson

With the first trailer for Django Unchained now on the internet and in theaters, plenty of hype is now around the already highly buzzed feature from director/writer Quentin Tarantino. While we get a quick look at Leonardo DiCaprio’s villain in the trailer, it’s whom the marketing or trailer hasn’t shown so far that has truly made some fans both eager and just a bit disappointed. Now, an all-new international trailer has hit, and with it comes not only brand new footage and dialogue for each character, but also a first look at Samuel L. Jackson’s character in the upcoming film.

Set in the South two years before the Civil War, “Django Unchained” stars Academy Award®-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award®-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles – dead or alive.

Success leads Schultz to free Django, though the two men choose not to go their separate ways. Instead, Schultz seeks out the South’s most wanted criminals with Django by his side. Honing vital hunting skills, Django remains focused on one goal: finding and rescuing Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), the wife he lost to the slave trade long ago.

Django Unchained will be released this Christmas, starring Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Walton Goggins, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony LaPaglia, Tom Savini, and more.
