Bryan Q. Miller Reveals MAJOR DC Comics Character To Appear in ‘Smallville Season 11′

With every “episode” of the new Smallville Season 11 set to last four issues, the season premiere of the TV series’ continuation will end next month in digital form. This week, DC Comics has been unveiling their September slate of issues that have largely consisted of #0 comics for plenty of the company’s titles. However today, the first information on Smallville‘s second episode has officially been posted, and it should excite fans to know that one of the biggest requests throughout the series’ 10 year run is finally going to become a reality.

Bryan Q. Miller revealed on his blog that for the first time in Smallville history, fans will receive what they’ve been asking for: Batman will interact with Clark Kent as the all-new Superman will clash with the Caped Crusader!

Miller spoke on the reveal by saying, “Fans have been waiting for this for a VERY long time. As both a fan and a writer, I am more than pleased to announce the arrival of a MAJOR DC universe player in the second episode of Smallville Season 11.”

DC Comics revealed the following information about the upcoming beginning of the episode, titled “Detective”, which will definitely see a shift in visual style as Pere Perez surrenders his post as artist:
