It’s been nearly six months since the teaser trailer for Resident Evil: Retribution hit, and we unfortunately haven’t heard much more from Screen Gems in terms of marketing. A few posters have hit, but what we’re really waiting for is the full length trailer. While it’s unclear just when we can expect that all-new look to hit, Screen Gems proves that the day may soon be coming by releasing yet another poster for the upcoming zombie thriller sequel. This time, we get yet another look at not only our ass-kicking heroine of Alice, but that destruction that lies around her.

The wildly successful film franchise adaptation that has grossed nearly $700 million worldwide to the popular video game series, “Resident Evil,” returns in its highly anticipated fifth installment, “Re5ident Evil: Retribution” in state-of-the art 3D.

The Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race’s last and only hope, Alice (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella’s most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by newfound allies and familiar friends, Alice must fight to survive long enough to escape a hostile world on the brink of oblivion. The countdown has begun.
