It’s fair to say that in most movies thus far, Nick Swardson’s characters seem to always have a gag. There’s been Terry the Rollerskating Prostitute, Jessica Biel’s overflirtatious gay brother, Bucky Larson the pornstar, a stalker in Blades of Glory, and even Howie who’s afraid of the sun in The Benchwarmers. Swardson has played plenty of interesting roles and his recent signing on to Grown Ups 2 indicated he may just be playing it straight forward as the main group did in the first film. Now, Swardson has posted a photo from the set, and it looks like there will be some jokes made about one certain feature at the expense of his character.

Swardson will be playing the brother of Rob Schneider’s character in the film who drives a school bus for a living, hence the very similar hair. Much like Schneider’s own do from the first movie, this one may be the subject of ridicule as well. Then again with the group facing off against some frat boys (played by Oliver Cooper, Taylor Lautner, and David Henrie), they may need to recruit his help to kick some college ass if need be.
Not too many plot details about the film have been released, but returning characters include the ones played by Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Schneider, Kevin James, David Spade, Maya Rudolph, and Salma Hayek. Joining the new crew will also be SNL alum Cheri Oteri, who will reunite with Spade for the first time since Just Shoot Me, and the first time with Sandler since SNL. Dennis Dugan is returning to direct with a script from Fred Wolf, and the film is the first ever sequel Sandler has ever been involved with in his career.
Grown Ups 2 hits theaters on July 12th, 2013.
