Watch the First Episode of The CW’s Canadian Import ‘The L.A. Complex’

There have been plenty of Canadian series that have become hits here in the States. DegrassiInstant StarRookie Blue, and more are just a few of the hits that have become popular after crossing the border. The CW now hopes to do the same with next week’s all-new series The L.A. Complex. Though it aired earlier in Canada this year, the show has yet to begin here in the U.S., and to help generate some buzz, the network has decided to put the first full episode of the series for free online, which you can watch right below:

“The L.A. Complex follows the lives of twenty year olds living in the same apartment complex in L.A. trying to make it as actors, dancers, producers and comedians. Relationships begin and end, the need to succeed is tested and all characters are pushed to their breaking points.”

The series is only comprised of 6 episodes so far, which is what The CW will run until June. Production company Bell Media, who owns channel MuchMusic where the series originally airs, has ordered 13 more episodes of the series, which means that if successful, there’s a shot The CW has a potentially recurring summer series, or even one that could take a spot in the fall line-up.

Starring Cassie Steele, Chelan Simmons, Jonathan Patrick Moore, Joe Dinicol, Jewel Staite, and more, with recurring roles from Kristopher Turner, Dayo Ade, and others, The L.A. Complexairs at a regular time Tuesdays at 9PM starting next week on The CW.
