Two New Clips for ‘The Avengers’ Showcase Loki and Thor

Yesterday, we brought you the latest clip from Disney and Marvel’s The Avengers, which featured Maria Hill, but barely touched the greatness of Black Widow’s ass kicking first sneak. So now, Marvel has decided to release another clip, with a scene many are buzzing about. One of the most impressive looks from the film happens to be the conversation between Loki and Iron Man himself Tony Stark. Today, the comic company has released the latest video, and it gives us a damn great look at the two’s discussion.

Wow. Let's not forget this is the first time we've really seen this combination, as the clip is really the first true interaction the audience has seen between Tony and Loki. But here, you have two amazing personalities clashing, and Tom Hiddleston plays it wonderfully. The way Loki is visibly distraught by the mention of his brother's name, the way the two just keep lashing their sharp witted tounges and one another. It's certainly a sight to behold.

With that clip, a new TV spot has come, shedding some light on Thor's story and how he relates with his fellow teammates:

It’s great to see that the Thor one-liners are still in tow, but there should be more of a reaction experienced from the character in the full-length film. After all, he did believe his brother was dead after all this time, and we still have the extremely mysterious question of just how the hell Thor gets back onto Earth in the first place after the ending of Thor.

Here, though, we get to see a few other dialogue-filled scenes, along with Thor’s warrior-typical lust for blood and fighting. We see Scarlett Johansson continuing to steal some scenes, as it’s becoming more apparent through footage we’re seeing that Black Widow has plenty of great material, and…really, is there anything that could let down fans at this point?

Starring Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg, Tom Hiddleston, Colbie Smulders, and more, The Avengers hits theaters on May 4th.
