Release Date and Cover Art Revealed for ‘Louie’ Season 2

If anything, the second season of Louis C.K.’s comedy Louiehas only cemented his legacy further. Being a triple threat by writing, directing, and starring in every single episode so far, C.K.’s second year had episodes that many people were talking about the next day. Now, just in case you missed them, they’re headed to the store shelves just in time for the third season premiere.

LaughSpin reports that Louie: The Complete Second Season will be released on June 19th for Blu-Ray and DVD, with special features that are not yet full detailed.

With thirteen episodes, the set includes some of the series’ best moments, such as C.K.’s all-too-real “confrontation” with fellow comedian Dane Cook, the first hour long episodes of the series that sees the comedian going overseas to perform a USO tour, and even his defense of masturbation on FOX News.

The critically acclaimed series returns just 10 days later on FX, when the show premieres its third season on June 28th afterWilfred.

Here is the cover art for the Blu-Ray set, which is unfortunately not too big of an image (click to enlarge):
