Throughout the eight years on House, the titular doctor’s posters have been a very noteworthy piece of marketing. There was the poster with House rocking out on his cane like a guitar, Hugh Laurie actually being wrapped around by two snakes to form the medical staff, and even one where it revealed the pill-ridden curmudgeon did have a heart as it hinted at his relationship with Cuddy. Now, as the series gets ready to say goodbye, one final poster represents the end.

We have another poster (below) with the cane, which is one of House’s main objects in their advertising over the years, as its always been by his side. But here, we have a more symbolic meaning. While the cane has always been by his side, so has best friend Wilson. With the character’s recent reveal, it seems the duo’s friendship will take focus in these final four episodes, all leading up to a titled finale that leave many to wonder if the show will leave them heartbroken.

Among those returning for the finale, Olivia Wilde, Kal Penn, and Amber Tamblyn have all been confirmed to show up, while understandably the series may be looking to keep some names a secret as of right now. The series finale is set to air on May 21st on FOX.

House airs every Monday at 8PM.
