Marvel has quite the summer planned, and it all kicks off in just a little more than a month from now. With plenty of promotion happening for both The Avengers and The Amazing Spider-Man, both films have received different images, trailers, and merchandising. Now, two now pictures have hit the internet: one bringing a famed Marvel character his much deserved time, and another showcasing an all-new type of technology.
First up in the Marvel summer blockbusters, The Avengersposters may have been lacking a certain someone. Nearly everyone in the film has had their face plastered on one of the many posters to come out, but one key supporting character has been missing. Hell, even Maria Hill got her time in the the spotlight. Where’s Agent Coulson? Well, fear not! Clark Gregg tweeted the official poster for everyone’s favorite loyal spy who’s a secret badass, properly putting his face on one of the marketing one-sheets (click to enlarge):
Meanwhile, New York’s resident wall crawler is experiencing his own new adventure this summer with a reboot, and we’ve received a great amount of posters, pictures, and more as the gap continues to narrow until his return. Now Marvel, thanks toStark Industries, has released an all-new picture of Spider-Man in a very familiar signature pose. We get to see him obviously swinging, but also a new shot of just how the web shooters actually work (click to enlarge):
