The post-Twilight career for Robert Pattinson is certainly starting to gain some traction. The actor impressed many when his teaser trailer for the upcoming David Cronenberg feature Cosmopolis hits the internet about two weeks ago, looking to successfully shed his sparkly vampire persona. But, before Cronenberg’s film hits, Pattinson also has another film to be released called Bel Ami. An adaptation of the 1886 novel, the romantic drama has just received it’s first domestic trailer, which you can see right below:

A morally bankrupt schemer (Robert Pattinson) rises to the upper echelons of Parisian society by seducing a series of powerful and wealthy mistresses.

Bel Ami is released first on Video On Demand for May 4th, with a theatrical release on June 8th.
