Last fall, Showtime took the drama genre by storm withHomeland, a new series that won numerous awards earlier this year at the Golden Globes. Meanwhile, many felt that Dexterwas lacking in the same quality is had been, and ultimately started to feel lackluster. Regardless, both series are coming back later this year to the network, and as if anticipation wasn’t enough, Showtime has announced today the exact dates for when both will premiere.
Because it proved to be a winning combonation last year,Dexter and Homeland will air together on Sunday nights once more, with Dexter at 9PM, and Homeland at 10, starting September 30th.
Homeland will be going into its sophomore season after a remarkable debut, while Dexter will be heading into Season 7. Unfortunately, no synopsis or teasers have yet been revealed for both series, as they’re in very early production to get the episode orders filled right now.
