Leslie Bibb and Rob Corddry To Star in ‘Hell Baby’ As Directors Are Set

With Thomas Lennon coming to New Girl later this season, it seems the comedy from the actor is only going to keep on coming. He and frequent partner Robert Ben Garant have made a great amount of waves in recent years, for both television and film. Now, the duo have their sights set on the horror genre, as they’ll be headed into production on an all-new film that deals with exorcism.

Lennon and Garant will direct their first picture together calledHell Baby, which will star Rob Corddry and Leslie Bibb. The duo have written numerous pictures together,  such as Night at the MuseumBalls of Fury, and also co-created, wrote and starred in the series Reno 911! and it’s big screen companion Reno 911!: Miami. Garant has directed numerous times on the duo’s projects, but Lennon will make his feature directorial debut with Hell Baby.

The film, penned again by the helmers, is described as a horror comedy that features “a young expectant couple moving in to New Orleans most haunted fixer-upper and calls upon The Vatican’s elite exorcism team to save them from a demonic baby.” Lennon and Garant will also co-star as the exorcism team that Bibb and Cordrry’s characters call upon to help.

No major studio is yet connected to the film to distribute, but Darko Entertainment and Principato-Young Entertainment will be producing, with Darko financing. Production is scheduled to begin next month in New Orleans. No release date is set as of right now.
