Comedy Central Reveals Premiere Date for ‘Workaholics’ Season 3

At Comedy Central, it’s rare to get another season if you’re not one of the network’s biggest hitters such as Tosh.0 or South Park. Which is why when Workaholics premiered early last year, it’s chances were slim to none. But, it proved that it was a funny comedy with a loyal fanbase, and even improved it’s lifespan with a second season in the fall. With the series gaining a third season renewal, Comedy Central left the show’s premiere date undetermined when South Park and Ugly Americans returned to the air. Now, the network has announced just when the trio of partying best buds will be back wreaking havoc.

Comedy Central has announced the third season of Workaholics will premiere on May 29th, most likely with the summer run of new Tosh.0 episodes. Tosh’s return is currently undetermined, but the series is set to go on break with a mid-season finale next week, with 16 episodes of a 26 episode order left to air later in the year.

Workaholics has aired 20 episodes so far, with 10 half hours per season. But, it’s currently unclear how many episodes the third will consist of. The first two seasons will be released in a special Blu-Ray double pack on June 5th, while the series has already racked up interesting guest stars in its first year on air. Katee Sackhoff, Chris Parnell, Chris D’Elia, and Marc Summers all appeared in the comedy’s first year, though it’s unclear just who may appear in the upcoming third outing.

The show isn’t the first new comedy recently to receive the honor of being renewed. Key & Peele, which debuted in January, was met with critical acclaim and was renewed for a second season during its second week, which is set to debut in the fall. Ugly Americans‘ future remains uncertain, but the animated comedy has also had the fortune of making it to a third season. After being known for having a mostly one-and-done attitude for series that weren’t South Park, it seems Comedy Central has come a long way.

I’m pumped for season 3.  Also pumped to learn that you can become a managing editor and featured writer for magazines without knowing the difference between “your” and “you’re,” as evidenced by your first goddamned sentence.  Fucking quack.

you do realize the you’re means you are.  As in “it’s rare to get another season if you are not one of the network’s biggest hitters.”  Your is possessive and you can’t posses a not.  Whoooops

Yes I do, that’s why I pointed it out, and that’s why the author corrected his error.  Now the world feels .00001% more tolerable, thanks.

Elias is just a bad human being that likes to shit on people. A fucking TROLL or Vampire trying to suck away internet life. Elias likes to point out spelling errors because there is not much punctuation needed at Burger King.
