Yesterday, we showed you the teaser poster for Neighborhood Watch that only hinted at the alien sci-fi plot that’s within the film. We knew that the poster obviously meant a trailer would be coming soon, but it was undetermined just when. Now, we have the first trailer for the upcoming summer comedy, and in a move that’s sure to confuse people when they see the full length trailer, it only alludes to a funny buddy comedy and nothing quite more.
Video via The Sun, who premiered the trailer:
It’s only a short tease, and it does seem like an odd version ofWild Hogs at one point, but given that Akiva Schaffer of Hot Rodis behind the camera, it seems that it’s best to judge the film only as more footage surfaces. Producer Shawn Levy called it one of the funniest scripts he’s ever read, not to mention the actors behind it certainly seem like they could make this quite the comedy.
Neighborhood Watch hits theaters on July 27th.
