Though he wasn’t around for too long, we may have found out where ex-Smallville actor Eric Johnson disappeared to after Season 1: as a prisoner who disappears and reappears 30 years later. Well, that may not be Johnson, but that is his character of which he’ll be guest starring as in Alcatraz, the anticipated FOX mid-season series that Johnson will be guest starring on, TV Guide reports.
As said, Johnson will be appearing as one of the series’ prisoners who dissappear from the famous prison, and then end up reappearing 30 years later, where FBI Agents (Sarah Jones, Jorge Garcia, and more) are tasked with rounding them up. He’ll be playing “Cal Sweeney, a smooth talking bank robber whose interests lie in safety deposit boxes and the secrets they contain.” In fact, you wait have to wait too long for Johnson’s appearance: he’ll be showing up in the fourth episode of the series on January 30th.
Johnson currently stars in the ABC series Rookie Blue, which will be returning for a third season this summer.
Alcatraz will debut with a two hour series premiere on Monday, January 16th at 8PM on FOX.
