With a demo just on the horizon, many of us can’t wait to see the crew of the good ol’ Normandy once more in Mass Effect 3. We know that Commander Shepard, Joker, and whoever else you didn’t kill off at the end of the last game will be back in the sci-fi action RPG. But, in terms of new characters, who can we expect? How about Freddie Prinze Jr. as an all-new character joining the crew?
GTTV revealed last night in their latest episode on Spike that Prinze Jr. would be joining the cast of the upcoming sequel as Lieutenant James Vega, who’s character details are remaining rather thin for spoiler purposes, as Bioware wants to keep his role very hush hush.
Prinze Jr. joins an already very impressive voice cast that ranges from Seth Green, Chuck‘s Yvonne Strahovski, Martin Sheen, Keith David, Once Upon a Time‘s Raphael Sbarge, and very many more.
Joining the new character also comes the confirmed new location you’ll be playing on: Mars. Yes, with the introduction of Earth in the Mass Effect world comes the big red planet that seems to be very rarely touched in videogames. Here, players will reunite with Liara, as Shepard sets out to rescue her when the planet is invaded by Reapers making their way to Earth.
You can get your hands on Mass Effect 3 when the demo is released on February 14th, with the full game hitting shelves on March 6th.
