’30 Rock’ News: Emma Stone and More To Cameo in ‘New Year’s Eve’ Spoof

She'll be one of many this season to 'Rock' out

We’re just two days away from one of the funniest comedies on television 30 Rock returning with its sixth season this Thursday on NBC, and a big casting news bomb has just dropped. The series has tackled plenty of entertainment-related jokes before, and is set to even tackle Kim-Jong Il’s death later this season with Avery Jessup (Elizabeth Banks). Now, the series will be spoofing New Year’s Eve by the time this month is over, and with it comes a trio of funny faces.

EW is reporting that Emma Stone, Andy Samberg, and Nick Cannon will appear in the January 26th episode of the series as themselves in the film Martin Luther King Day, which Tina Fey says is ”a movie from the producers of Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve.”

The writer/creator/star backed up the spoof saying, ”I want to lay claim to that bit before anyone gets it. It’s a movie that has everyone in the world in it.” Jane Krakowski’s character of Jenna is among the stars in the actor-filled faux film as well.

These aren’t the only famous faces you’ll be seeing this season on the hit comedy. Set to roam the halls of the TGS offices include James Marsden, Mary Steenburgen, Will Arnett, Denise Richards, Kelsey Grammer, and Kristen Schaal.

30 Rock kicks off a new slate of episodes at 8PM in just two days time.
