The CW Delays ’90210′ and ‘Ringer’ Returns; ABC Extends ‘Castle’ Season

There’s both some good TV news and some bad TV news for boob tube watchers today. On the good side of things, audiences will get a little bit more of Castle and Beckett this season. On the bad side, viewers will have a cold winter as they wait longer for Ringer and 90210.

Let’s start good: Castle has been extended one extra hour this season from 22 episodes to 23, EW reports. No reason why, but ABC seems to be throwing all kinds of support in the hit crime drama’s direction. There’s a good chance this could mean a two hour season finale, as well. Castle will return to book some bad guys on January 9th at 10PM.

Now to the bad: The CW has decided that things will remain a bit snowy in California and New York for now, as they’ve decided to delay botht eh returns for Ringer and 9021090210doesn’t feel much of a blow, only being delayed one week to January 17th. But, Ringer has been delayed until January 31st, making it off the air for nearly two and a half months.

But, the silver lining in all of this is that Ringer will now run almost without any repeats until its season finale in May.

Anything can happen in mid-season, but I’m sure Ringer fans aren’t happy about this crappy Holiday surprise.

How do you feel about the extension and delays? Let us know in the comments!
