Castle has been more than its share of dark this season, with Beckett’s gun shot tragedy still echoing, along with some cases that have taken a more serious approach to the will-they-won’t-they partners. It appears, however, that it will be a time for enjoyment, smiles, and rejoicing for one special reason: it’s time for a wedding!

Now, don’t get too excited “Caskett” fans, Castle and Beckett will not be tying the knot soon. In fact, it will be Detective Kevin Ryan, as revealed by the recurring supporting players’ recent issues. But, here’s the kicker: he’s getting hitched next episode!

Yes, Ryan will be standing at the altar when the series returns from it’s quick holiday hiatus on Monday, January 9th. Even more adorable, playing Ryan’s bride-to-be Jenny Duffy-O’Malley is Juliana Dever, who is wed to real-life-hubby and Ryan portrayer Seamus Dever.

But, will all the love in the air be the sign, and kick in the ass, for Beckett and Castle to finally ignite a relationship once and for all? We’ll just have to see…
