Warner Bros. Developing 'Clash of the Titans 3'?

While Clash of the Titans was a disappointment in 2010, the upcoming sequel Wrath of the Titans seeks to change everything. While the film won’t be hitting theaters until March, Warner Bros. is apparently very happy with whatever they’ve seen. The studio is reportedly bringing back Wrath’s writers in order to have a third film ready to go.

The Hollywood Reporter are the ones making the claim, saying they have word that sequel writers David Leslie Johnson and Dan Mazeau have been hired by Warner Bros. to pen a third film.

While this is far from confirmation that another sequel has been greenlit, it’s a big step forward. The studio is preparing for the oncoming release, which will hopefully reach WB’s expectations, and yet a first trailer nor poster have not yet been released for the film.

The THR article hints that Sam Worthington will be back for a third time in his role as Perseus, and even that newcomer Toby Kebbell’s Agenor will return after his introduction in Wrath.

Wrath of the Titans also stars Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson, Danny Huston, Edgar Ramirez, Bill Nighy and Rosamund Pike, and will be released on March 30th, 2012.
