As our readers might already know, most of Criminal Minds’ cast and crew have active twitter accounts, through which they sometimes provide fans with exclusive behind-the-scenes pictures and/or tips on upcoming episodes. There is also an specific twitter feed for Criminal Minds set reporting, and even an special account for the character Penelope Garcia, who tweets her impressions on the cases and the team – as well as her special…shall we say, admiration for a certain handsome agent…

One of the most willing participants of Criminal Minds twitter feast is Rick Dunkle (@rickdunkle), head of Criminal Minds Writing Department, who granted fans with a quick Q&A on his way back from Thanksgiving holidays. Here’s what we could gather about what is next in our favorite show:

1) There will be plenty of personal bits on Hotch, Reid and Morgan in the next batch of episodes. For example, episode 7×12 will feature a bit more of Hotch and Prentiss’s dynamics; there will be more than one Morgan-centric episode; and Reid will be making some life-changing decisions.

2) Episode 7×14 will be called “Closing Time”, written by Rick Dunkle himself and slated to air on Feb. 15.

ALSO, and most important in our humble opinion: Criminal Minds Finale will be 2-hour long this year! Rick Dunkle will write the first hour of the episode and Executive Producer/Showrunner Erica Messer will be in charge of the second hour. The 2-hour finale will be presented in just one night and is slated to air on May 16.
