The CW Sets Dates for Mid-Season Premieres

With November now here, TV lovers are dreading the next month as their shows go away for a little holiday hiatus. The CW usually ends their run of new episodes in mid-November in order to meet the long inbetween, but the network today has revealed just when all your favorite shows will be back and it’ll start just after you say Happy New Year’s.

The biggest premiere will involve One Tree Hill kicking off it’s ninth, and final season on Wednesday, January 11th at 8PM. This is actually very smart, as there is a void in the lineup since the network’s cancellation of H8R, and there doesn’t really seem to be much competiton in that spot. It will be joined by a new reality series Remodeled at 9PM, bowing only a week later.

Your supernatural Thursdays return with The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle in their respective timeslots on Thursday, January 5th, with Nikita and Supernatural making their comebacks one day later in their same timeslots as well.

90210 and Ringer will return on Tuesday, January 10th, while Gossip Girl will find it’s way a week later on Monday, January 16th. But, GG companion Hart of Dixie won’t follow it until the following Monday, January 23rd.

What do you think of all the CW’s series’ returns? Not too late after the holidays? Let us know either in the comments below, or tweet us @DuranceMagazine on Twitter
