Torrey Devitto

Usually when One Tree Hill fans hear the words “insane” and “kidnapper”, they’ll picture the face of Torrey DeVitto, better known as crazy nanny Carrie. Now, DeVitto is headed to another show, in which she has personal ties. She’ll show up this season on The Vampire Diaries, where her husband Paul Wesley works.

DeVitto will be playing Mary, a doctor who finds herself baffled by Alaric when he’s admitted to a hospital, and finds that he has a remarkable healing ability (i.e. the Gilbert ring).

She’ll be appearing in two episodes, 10 & 11, of the series’ third season. No word if she’ll share any scenes with her husband, whom she married in April. Torrey has been a recurring cast member on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars since it’s debut.

The Vampire Diaries airs Thursdays at 8PM only on The CW, and will return to the same timeslot with new episodes on January 5th.
