A couple of days ago, we reported on Hilarie Burton guest starring in an upcoming episode of Castle as a reality-tv take on Kim Kardashian. But, obviously there has to be some kind of handsome man who’s arm she’s hanging on to right? Well, as it turns out, that happens to be a Smallville alum.

Justin Hartley will be guest starring in the season’s thirteenth episode, “An Embarassment of Bitches”,  as the boyfriend of Burton’s character. The character is “famous for being famous”, and the hour will air sometime in early 2012, either January or February. It’s unknown yet how Burton or Hartley factor into Castle and Beckett’s case at hand.

This isn’t Justin’s first post-Smallville guest spot, as he showed up in one of Chuck’s final episodes just a few weeks ago. He, of course, played Oliver Queen, also known as his vigilante alias Green Arrow, on the just ended superhero series. First showing up in season six, he eventually became a main character, appearing in 82 episodes until the series’ final curtain call.

Castle will air its tenth episode, when it returns from a short holiday hiatus on December 5th, in its usual timeslot, Mondays at 10PM on ABC.
