FX has a big year ahead for 2012. With basically no cancellations of all new shows, this is poised to be one of the biggest years for the network. Coming off a big Emmy win, and plenty of nominations, Justified is making its anticipated return, and FX has officially set premiere dates for that, Archer, and the upcoming new series Unsupervised.
Justified will make its return on Tuesday January 17th at 10PM, where it will air every week, and be airing its third season. Guest stars include Neal McDonough and Mykelti Williamson as all new characters and antagonists, while Carla Gugino will be showing up to possibly steal Timothy Olyphant’s heart as a potential love interest.
FX has announced the official synopsis for the season is that, “Boyd and his crew will find they aren’t the only ones making a play to rule the Harlan underworld. Now Raylan finds himself facing off against dirty politics, hidden fortunes, a mysterious man named “Limehouse”, and an enterprising and lethal criminal from the Motor City.”
Archer will also be debuting its third season two days later on Thursday, January 19th at 10PM. The animated comedy is one half of a promised hour of cartoon hijinks, as the new series Unsupervised, which is from the animators of Archer and the producers of It’s Always Sunny, will premiere directly afterwards.
