It just seems like a Disney-filled news day today. After a slight misdirection with their sequel Cars 2, Pixar is going back to original features with a fairy tale epic that no one has ever seen before. Brave hits theaters next summer, but Empire has revealed all new stills from the film, which reveals your first look at three new characters.
The three characters, though from the picture you can’t place who is who, are Lord MacGuffin (Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (Craig Ferguson) and Lord Dingwall (Robbie Coltrane). Also in the set of HD gallery pictures, you’ll notice Kelly Macdonald’s Merida interacting with what appears to be a glowing spirit (not confirmed).

Synopsis:
Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (Robbie Coltrane).Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch (Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late.
Brave will be released in the U.S. on June 22nd, 2012 in 3D and 2D.
