We’re still venturing into the cold winter months, but Marvel and Sony are still focused on the warm summer days to come, as Marvel has not only The Avengers, but also have The Amazing Spider-Man with Sony. Much has been kept hush-hush on the film, only revealing a few official photos, set photos were abound, and one small teaser trailer was revealed during Captain America.

Now, another leak in the system has led to some concept art being revealed, but the biggest seems to be the only one making rounds on the Internet this morning. An image of The Lizard (Rhys Ifans) was revealed, and you can take a look at it yourself by clicking the photo below to enlarge it:

Now, it should be noted that this could very well NOT be the final version of the character. It could undergo many changes in post production, where they’ll work on the special effects of the villain, and finally come forth with that final transformation. But, its still a small glimpse into what you could, and very likely will, be seeing come Summer 2012.

The Amazing Spider-Man, directed by Marc Webb, stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Ifans, Dennis Leary, Martin Sheen, Chris Zylka, Sally Field, and more, and will be released into theaters in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on July 3rd, 2012.
